Underwater dock lights attract fish. These green led high output lights attact everything from Snook to Tarpon. Alot of fun for light tackle fishing as well as fly fishing. The trick is to having a selection of spots to hit up as you don’t want to spook the dock by over fishing it. I would check out at least a half dozen of these spots in a given trip. Take a few casts, and then move on to the next one. You can over fish a dock light really fast, so if you are noticing that the fish are visible but just not taking the baits, they are probably spooked and have been throw to too often. So give it some time for the fish to relax. Also you don’t want to cast your bait or plug or fly right smack center into the light, you want to slightly over cast the target and then pull your bait through the light on the outsides of it.
